The concept of the visual identity is based on the cohesion of the students, the spreading of the information, advocating students’ rights, unity, equality and prosperity in the field of education.
The logo is designed with the help of a single element – an open book – that symbolizes education. The books are rotated and connected in their lower central point and by interweaving of the lines suggest linking and sharing information. With its form the logo also suggests the representation of students and advocating the students’ rights. In accordance with the name of the university and the field of activity of J. J. Strossmayer, the authenticity of the logo is completed by the symbolism of the cross that can be noticed in the center.
